I just downloaded my first set of Groove Monkee MIDI Loops. I don't see them in the MIDI patterns in Sonar, and I'm not sure how to let Sonar know where to find them. I'm kinda new at some of this stuff. Help.

If they're zipped you'll need to unzip them.

Open a project. Once you do that load a drum soft snyth, open the Media Browser, select a loop and preview it.

When you find one you like just drag it into your project.

Yeah, I did all that. When I opened the Media Browser, there was a list, including Groove Monkee, but it only contains the sampling of Groove Monkey loops that came with Sonar, not the new loops I bought. I bought the World Beats pack, which contains over 1,100 loops. The Media Browser only shows me 71 World Beats loops - the sampling that came with Sonar.

Hey Dapper.

I found my groove monkey loops in C:/program files/cakewalk/vstplugins/sessiondrummer/contents/patterns.

If you copy your bought gm loops to here they'll be seen in X2's browser. You'll be able to preview and drag and drop.
