I bought it last time. It's a fun tool..... if you like silly sounds. I've no experience of other ones so someone may know better options.

Just be aware ... it's 32-bit with no promise of ever getting to a 64-bit version.  Plus the documentation is really second rate, and it's complicated enough that it really begs for thorough documentation.
 
I absolutely love this synth.  It's one of the most exciting developments of the last few years.  But given it's "issues", there are reasons to be cautious in picking it up.  For one thing, look at the amount of 3rd party sound support.  That would be zero, at least such was the case the last time I looked.  I do wish Image Line would correct these difficiencies.  I sometimes wonder if they appreciate what a masterpiece they've come up with.
