Oooo...  Purdy!

(As anyone who has seen my customs can tell, I'm a sucker for a nice quilted maple top!)

Will it play Am?

I'm sure the guitar can, but I struggle LOL. Considering I've been playing guitar for over thirty years, well, needless to say, I've never made a living at it

Tell me, Craig, what does it mean by "quilted top?" According to the COA it is a "10 top" too, and it has a little ten on the back of the headstock.

PRS noob me, see

Quilted Maple is another type of figured Maple just like birds eye or flame. Your guitar has a highly figured top that shows more figuring than usual. The 10 top designation is used by PRS, where Gibson would use AAAAA for the same type of wood. It just means the wood is an exceptional piece with the highest degree of figuring.

Nice Axe.

Gorgeous!

I was just looking at a yellow PRS a few hours ago, behind the sales desk, but it looked nothing as good as this!

It also had the older standard style of birds, but I like these much better as well.

Beauty!

Nothing to plug it into? Bring it over here - [and then go for a 6 month drive].

Love it!

Hide it from the kids, dog & cat though! And of course the wife!

Erm... It has been a while since I've played. My left hand finger tips are getting rather sore. Any tips? Should I soak them overnight in linseed oil or something?

Just play as much as you can. Push the discomfort as far as you can stand it. In a short time, your fingertips will toughen up.
The muscles in your fingers are another story. If they start to hurt, back off. They are easily damaged, and can take a long time to heal.

That is a gorgeous guitar, and I imagine finding the inspiration to play it a lot won't be hard to find.
