Okay, I downloaded the Maserati pack......even though it shows up in  Explorer     program files (86) waves / plugins...with this location X2 could not find it.......I added the path waves shell and it showed up in X2....I click on one of the Maserati plugs and X2 states that it was inproperly installed. Help!

PS: Ironically I bought Waves NLS some time ago and had no install issues, go figure

I had the same problem. Here's what I did:

Go to the VST settings area from Edit > Preferences
Under "VST Scan" (NOT VST Scan Options)
Click "RESET ALL VST PLUG-INS"
After that (in the are just above that selection)
Click "Scan VST Folders"

I tried the things mentioned in the thread that's somewhere in the forum but nothing worked.

One thing, I have Jamstix and it asked me to re-enter my serial number.

Glad to see everything's okay. I was cursing up a blue streak last night.

Oh no, it gets better....my cpu has NEVER crashed because of a software issue or vst plug.....and now, although Maserati loads and works (I'm auditioning the acoustic guitar presets right now)......X2 keeps telling me it has to close.....I'm surprised there's an issue with Waves......what is your path with Maserati?

I can tell you that last night I checked and everything seemed to be in the proper place.

I'm running X2 with Maserati on Win 8 and have no issues whatsoever...

I used Maserati under X2 in Win 7 with no issues and that was on 
an AMD A6 with 8 gig RAM!!!  Not an i7....

I now have an A8 with 16 Gig....

I use ALL my Waves plugins, with BOTH operating systems without 
any issues...

My biggest issue....Kramer Master Tape is a CPU hog...but that's still 
able to be gotten around.

Don't know why it would be giving you issues...
