hi everyone, i'm having big problems with the forum I just had to re-register then I tried to change the temporary password supplied by the forum however it won't let me. I've been using this forum for a long time and don't understand the problem. I dare not sign out because i'm afraid I won't be able to get back on. my email address I just used is joeyhomeatlast@gmail.com my old address that I've used forever was joeypinter55@yahoo.com does anyone have any idea how to fox this?

What browser are you using?

This forum is truly aging.  It looks fine, but does not behave with a few browsers.
But not being able to change a password is strange and doesn't seem browser-dependant.
What was the error, or what exactly happened when you weren't able to change it?  Can you tell us the browser you are using?

If nothing else, I'd love to see a better search on here.  But it's a free forum for us users so I can't complain :)

Hi Joey.   Browsers cache your passwords via cookies.  If you changed your password or indeed email, you may need to clear out your browsers cache.  This will vary with browser to browser.  Try doing this and then go back to the temp password and try reset it.
