As a long time analog guy, I have to say that the Slate VTM is a pretty cool plug.......really warmed up the sound, fuller bass and drums....just like I (sort of) remember.....I didn't think his VCC was that great, but I recommend the VTM

I've been warming up (no pun in ten did) to VCC lately.

VCC is great. Subtle, but that's exactly what I want it to be. I'm not mixing w/o it.

Well, now that I have Waves NLS, Slate VCC, and the CE that came with X2....the NLS is getting the most use for me right now......

I keep meaning to compare VCC with NLS. CE does not really interest me.

If you haven't  tried it yet check out the Bass Alignment feature in VTM. It's very handy especially for mastering.
