Rain

As a Canadian, I totally get what you mean. Don't know if you saw this one:

Having had the "chance" to visit hospitals and specialists here in the US as well as in Russia and Spain during the last 2 years helped me put things in perspective. Free healthcare does have its downsides. Not to say that doctors and nurses in Canada aren't giving their 150%, but, we've been much luckier here in the US and elsewhere in the world.

Anyway, I couldn't really go back to Canada for treatment - it'd take 3 months for me just to be eligible to free healthcare again, so who knows how long before I ever get treatment.

EEEEK!!!

I hated the treatments...made me really really ill....

But.

Whatever one does  do, no matter where you will be...good vibes will be there...

I was diagnosed with a malignant melanoma on my chest some 15 years ago, thanks to my wife who didn't like the look of the thing and more or less made me go and get it checked out.

Unfortunately, the first surgeon didn't get it all out so I had to go back a week or so later when they finally removed all traces of it

My only problems these days are Type II Diabetes, Gout, Hypertension & Tinnitus

So far so good...........

Positive thoughts for you Rain and all the other sufferers from those things that try to stop the music.

My hopes and thoughts for you Rain.  Hopefully it really will be "no news is good news" but I agree you should call and confirm.

I sure hope everything is OK... and FWIW... get the guitar you want no matter what the Dr. says. Life is short and hard either way. So, if you can get it... get it! Play it, love it, smile.

Cancer is the evil... that's why I quit the ciggies and try to stay healthy these days.

I suppose this time, no news really is good news Rain, here's hoping it will stay that way!

Here's to many, many, many healthy years to come for each and everyone of us here.

Hi Rain,

Take good care of yourself and quit smoking if you are still at it.  Your body needs lots of good lovin' now.  I pray all will be good for you.

Thanks a lot guys.

I had promised myself I'd quit smoking again and I managed to do so at the end of January. So it's been 4 months. I'm also back on a much healthier diet and training 5 days a week.

Glad it  all worked out for the better Rain. Hopes and prayers your way that everything will end up ok in the long term. Seems you have made the right changes to make cancer less of a possibility.

Are you training by lifting your wife? :)

At barely 100 lbs, it wouldn't be much of a challenge, would it? ;)
