Thought I'd pass this along in case you missed it: Mulperi Electro Essentials is a patch collection for Omnisphere, of which there aren't many out there to be had, and fewer still that I'd have any interest in.

I know, it says "Electro" in the name, but there ain't a single supersaw or lo-fi buzzbomb in the collection. You get 100 patches for 9 bucks (7 euros), a cheap upgrade, especially welcome for those who are broke because they bought Omnisphere in the first place.

The price goes up tomorrow, btw. But only by 2 bucks.

Thanks for the heads-up!

I had to press the BUY button. $9 seems very reasonable from what I heard in the demo. Looking forward to getting the download. I have not seen much of this around unless you count the Moog tribute library.

Actually, I haven't seen or heard much lately about Spectrasonics period.

I couldn't resist a $9 bargain, so I  bought it.  Too many arps and long delays perhaps, but all in all it shows what you can do with Omnisphere's synth engine with a little effort - something I've been exploring recently myself. At one point I was real close to buying U-he's Zebra as a general-purpose synth, but lately I'm questioning whether I even need another synth at all, thinking that maybe Omnisphere is all I really need for my modest synthy-type needs.

Regarding not hearing anything from Spectrasonics, that's kind of their pattern. They don't participate much in online conversations, don't come out with regular updates or even many paid add-on products. They're silent for months and even years, and then suddenly release something major with no hype, teasers or advance press. I doubt Eric and the boys have been idle all this time, so I'm optimistic that something good is in the works. Just hope I can afford it when it comes.

This sounds like a good cheap buy after an expensive year.Unfortunately the price has gone up to a mere 14 dollars [11 Euros] How do you like it?

I haven't actually used any of the patches yet, but at least half of them are viable candidates. That's a pretty good percentage compared to other patch collections I've tried.
