I couldn't resist a $9 bargain, so I bought it. Too many arps and long delays perhaps, but all in all it shows what you can do with Omnisphere's synth engine with a little effort - something I've been exploring recently myself. At one point I was real close to buying U-he's Zebra as a general-purpose synth, but lately I'm questioning whether I even need another synth at all, thinking that maybe Omnisphere is all I really need for my modest synthy-type needs.
Regarding not hearing anything from Spectrasonics, that's kind of their pattern. They don't participate much in online conversations, don't come out with regular updates or even many paid add-on products. They're silent for months and even years, and then suddenly release something major with no hype, teasers or advance press. I doubt Eric and the boys have been idle all this time, so I'm optimistic that something good is in the works. Just hope I can afford it when it comes.
