Rain: I'm with Danny on this one. If you're paying your bills, go ahead and get that guitar!

My wife strongly encouraged me to buy two guitars;  my Martin HD28 and my Carvin CT4M. They are more money than I would typically spend on gear (I am not a pro) but I have never regretted buying them.
