35 or so years of playing blues, original 50s/60s style r'n'b, psychedelia and traditional English folk music. That, and on and off sound engineering ranging from small gigs, even self mixed gigs like wedding ceilidhs where the band does the mixing on stage, through to some bigger stuff once in a while.
 
Which means I've a background that cuts across a lot of stuff and have also got to know an awful lot of very knowledgable people across various obscure fields. I also seem to have a great memory for trivia. Ask me what I did last week though and I'd have to think about it.
