I had Catanya and Harmonizer 32 bit and these are two of the funnest plugs you can imagine to play around with.

However, these are the only 32 bit plugs that did not survive my transition to 64bit.  I have sent about 10 e-mails to 7 aliens asking them for help or any news about 64 bit versions, and there is a stony wall of silence.

They have not released any updates in 2 years.

There web page is still up and it looks like they will take your money.

Does anyone know if they are still in business and have plans for any future releases ?

Despite the "7" in the name, I believe "7 Aliens" is a one-man operation. He is most likely a hobbyist who thought he might make a few bucks with his creations, but found he couldn't make enough to sustain an actual business. So he leaves the website up (which a third party manages for him) in hopes of snagging an occasional sale. But he's moved on and provides no support. Your only hope is that he's still dabbling with it on weekends, but I doubt it.

Do I have any inside information on this? No, I don't. I know his name is Branislav Dimos and he's from Czechoslovakia. Other that that all I know is the guy hasn't posted on KVR since September 2009, and hasn't updated his website or his software since January 2010. That, and I know that his is an all-too-common story.

Dave - That is what I thought.   Just thought someone else knew something.

I may install reaper 32 bit (where I know it works) and then I can just move any midi patterns over.

I emailed the developer in November last year to ask him about 64-bit and he responded within a few days with the following reply:

"Yes, we plan to release 64bit version as well. We hope it will be soon. We will keep you posted. Have a nice day."

Yes.  I had to update to the latest version of jbridge (v1.4) in order for it to work, but it seems to work fine in 64-bit Sonar X1 and Studio One v2.

No luck for me with jbridge 1.4  (Demo).  Immediately crashes Sonar when I try to add Catanya.

I also tried jbridge with Jamstix which is 32 bit.  It would load the VSTi in the project, but everytime you try to reopen the project it crashes.  Put Jamstix back to Bitbridge and it works like a charm.

Maybe I am missing something, but it seems it is supposed to be pretty straight forward.
