Mainly for live use - featuring auto accompaniment with bass / drums / styles with intro/ending controls.

I'm getting back to gigs playing more often, and may need these features for a two or three man band.

If there is a vsti version, I need not invest in a real arranger keyboard such as the Roland BK series, Korg PA series, Yamaha PSR..

I'm thinking of using it with a notebook + midi controller keyboard. I'm open for other ideas as well.

Thanks!

Have you considered Band In A Box?

I have Band In A Box, and this is what I'm using for some pre-recorded backing tracks - I bring an mp3 player (psp actually, I like the big buttons).

I need something in addition for interactive use.

This question seems to be asked from time to time at other forums too, after I google around.

One that came up is Live-Styler (I think it's not a vst, but it's ok for this type of usage - live, not for recording).

Sounds more like you are needing loops instead of VST. Create some backing tracks with some loop libraries.
