I have JABB 3 from that and to be honest I find Garritan's sounds just slightly better than general MIDI. I think Dim pro blows it away for most sounds. If their whole kit and kabodle came free with Sonar, I might bother to install them.

I agree.  IndabaMusic is currently running a remix contest in which entrants are required to make use of some free Garritan sounds.  These sounds are disappointing and I ended up not using most of them in my mix.  Also the supplied free player for these sounds has no envelope filters, LFOs or anything.  However, I did make use of some of the Garritan orchestral stuff that came with DimPro, although I have never been really impressed with these sounds either.

I got most of the Garritan stuff ages ago when it was one of the "best values around".  Those days are long gone and while I've heard folks do wonderful arrangements with Gary's stuff I too find the sounds lacking and very "semi-pro".  Too bad.
