There's obviously no money in oil these days.

Agree Steve, excellent value for the win, City never turned up. I really hope they stay up as well.

That toe save by the Wigan goalie was one of the best (albeit luckiest) I've ever seen.  The Wigan forward (can't remember who) in the first half that didn't shoot when he had an open net made the game a lot tighter than it should have been.

Hi,

Unbelievable ... I'm inclined to believe that some players want to get rid of Mancini, and are not trying hard enough to get anywhere.

I also think that Mancini, playing games with his players is not helping the issue a whole lot. And last year was Carlos that almost saved him and his job, and this year he threw Ballotelli out and he would have gladly taken his 6 or 7 goals already in the Italian League, which could have made the difference for 3 games, easily enough, if not more.

All in all, though, the end of the year rumors are malicious and sick ... a manager helps you win 75% of your games, and you want to get rid of him? ... sick ... just sick! Fans and idiots, obviously never learned anything from SAF and his 20-some years ... or worse, this day and age, there is no loyalty and no one cares, and some owners are the scum of the earth that got there by robbing banks!

There was no need for Clive Tyldesley to remind everyone of Ian Porterfield and Bob Stokoe though

There's actually no need for Clive Tyldesley, or come to think of it, Any Townsend either

One all the know managerial moves have taken place (and maybe a couple of unplanned ones as well?) there will literally be a handful of managers who will have been at the same club for longer than 12 months.

Currently it's:

Fergie: 26y 6m
Wenger: 16y 9m
Moyes: 11y 2m
Pulis: 10y 6m
Martinez: 3y 11m
Mancini: 3y 6m
Pardew: 2y 6m
Jol: 1y 11m
Allardyce: 1y 11m
Rodgers: 11m
Lambert: 11m
Clarke: 11m
Laudrup: 11m
Houghton: 11m
AVB: 10m
Rafa: 7m
Redknapp: 6m
Pochettino: 4m
Adkins: 2m
Di Canio: 2m

With Fergie & Moyes moving, question marks over Mancini & Martinez, & Pardew may well face the chop if the 'Toon  are relegated that will only leave Wenger, Pullis, Allardyce & Jol.

I am convinced that the real issue is the tabloid press and their "journalism", that is unbelievably bad, and the world is always wrong, and everyone is the scum of the earth ... specially if they are foreigners ... and no one is calling that press' bluff!

Some of those "writers" are hackers and hecklers, not writers. Good gawd, things are a lot more civil in New York than half that trash in London!

You know how of any teams that would not appreciate a manager taking you into the Champions League and you don't give a darn about him? ... I would grab him in a nanosecond ... but no ... a bunch of vicious writers and fans ... want him out ... how's that for thankless jerks? ... and no guarantee that it will be right next person, either!
