The first band I play in the '80 in was "Everest" (as a second drummer). I always played for fun not the money, so I left the band when they decided to play more "seriously".

The I started another band called "Hors Temps". A rough english translation would be "Out of time". We choose this name because we were playing cover from different era ... but I think it could mean that we were not tight

The first band... just a couple of kids banging on guitars in the basement: The Electric Mead... 2 guitars... one bass, occasional drummer.

First band to really play some gigs: Nomad...3 piece never made any money.. played when & where anyone would let us.... for free.

Money makers:

Boot Hill.... were were good...played country rock in the middle of the disco thing... never made much money and didn't get many gigs... but it was fun.

Snuffy Smith..... very short lived band.... played like...2 times.

Krrock...yeah , we caught a lot of flack over our name...... 4 piece until the singer left...continued as a 3 piece until we had a big fight.

Cahoots......really sharp 3 piece band.... worked for 2+ years gigging full time...was the offspring of Krrock (same people...different name) ended the same way...

Family Tradition... house band... 6 piece... lasted 2.5 yrs...same place...same people....same songs.....

"Times Past"

Dating myself, but this was the mid-60s. All the local high-school bands were on a 'Times' kick: The Early Times, Future Times, etc.

And add some spelling varieties: Tymes

Nexus.

We rocked with covers of Rush, Blue Oyster Cult, Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, Black Sabbath and Emerson Lake and Palmer.

Somewhere around '77.

Aw cmon, surely somebody here played with me in "Rock Candy". I thought everybody played in a band with that name at least once.
