Over Tone DSP is currently selling their PTC-2A Pultec emulation at half price till the end of October (15 Euros)! I've owned this for a year now and I think it's insanely sweet! They have a free demo you can download.  I highly recommend it! In my opinion, it's one of the best Pultec VSTs out there but once again, that's only my opinion..!

My opinion, too -- in case you missed my post about it, I like this plugin a LOT.  It's so clean and transparent compared with other well-known EQ plugins.  Maybe not the one to use when you're after some "mojo" (I like the Nomad Pulse-Tec for that), but if you just want a smooth, natural sound, this one can't be beat.

Hey folks, I just saw that the special OverTone Pultec EQ plugin deal has been extended thru the end of November.  So if you haven't yet, you still have a chance to get in on what must be the plugin deal of the year -- I mean, this is a world-class emulation, right up there with the best available, and you can own it for only 15 British pounds (about $25 US).   
 
The OverTone EQ sure doesn't sound like a "cheap" plugin.  The more I use it, the more I like it -- it's real easy to get things sounding good with it.  Free demo available if you still aren't convinced.  Enjoy!
