WOW!!  Like..  Too bad I am not in the mood to learn it.  It runs: OK.  On my quad core.  If you like collecting synths, or are willing to learn this one..  Its awesome!

The learning curve is not bad, if you know synthesis.  Within 5 minutes, I had every feature figured out, but you know..  Something like this, is a ten year journey, until you really get beyond amazing with it.

Edit = I might have to buy this thing too..  10(100)(10000)x + ****

X = 1,000,000,000,000,000 and **** = a word you can't say on this forum!!

The audio demo is amazing!!

Edit again = I am really adverse to these types of computer synths, where you spend years, and years, figuring out their every little secret.  This thing is one of those, "infinite learning experiences..."  Like Rapture...   darn!!

Thanks for this. Just listed to the demo - I have to say it does sound very good; but $169 - too much for me I am afraid at the moment.
Do you know if there are ever any offers on this???
Cheers
Nigel

Agreed...
Sounds very pure compared to many VA soft-synths

Warning: it's a CPU-eater on par with Diva.

A very nice synth, though. Although I think Zebra is a better value ($150), equally versatile and won't have your CPU for lunch.

Well, Bajan, the creator says "BTW, if anyone is up to buy Diversion better time to do that in December since there will be a sale."

That'll coincide with an update for Diversion and he's also making Diversion 2.0 but no timeline for that.

I think Diversion is a CPU eater, but I also think that Core i7 is about to be replaced...  In 3 years, Diversion will not be a CPU eater and anybody who buys it soon, will have a 3 year head start in the, "I have practiced this particular synth area."

The big diff is, "Diva sounds great but is dirty and analog modeled, Diversion sounds awesome but is totally no apologies digital and modern."

@ strinkinglyhandsome1

Thanks for that, that is interesting news :-)
