I've been sick recently...a bout of sore throats and bunged up sinuses which subsequently led to me being diagnosed with strep throat (must have caught it off of the girlfriend a couple of months ago) and I was given a big penicillin shot up in the backside. So I've been on the mend for a week. But I've been a bit sniffly ever since and have been blowing a lotta snot out. Anyway, without wanting to gross anyone out too much, today I blew my nose and these 6 what-looks-like little seeds came out. They're really tiny, I would say a little smaller than a chia seed. This is about the best shot I could get of one of them (after having cleaned it up a little). Does this ring any immediate bells with anyone? I'm paranoid that something crawled up there in the night and laid eggs or something. What could they be? I've never blown anything like this out before.  Sorry about the poor quality, it's zoomed all the way in. 

UPDATE: I think it actually is a chia seed! I just took a look at some....I sprinkle them on my granola every day. But how in the hell did one end up in my sinuses?

They're like snowflakes--each beautiful in its own way. 

I'm thinking you've been "seeded" by an alien being. Ububba will have more insight on this than I. Really looking forward to future developments.
