ok,  so bootcamp is simply dual booting and parallels is virtual machines.

Got it.

Now where is the delete key?

I'm using a laptop and I'm not familiar w/ the regular size keyboard. Googling it, it seems that you're not the only one looking for it though... I think what you are looking for requires you to combine backspace + the fn key.

Yayyyy!!!  Rain you're my hero

Backspace deletes the char on the left of the cursor
'delete' deletes the char to the right of the cursor

So....   question 2

I managed to install Adobe Flash Player following the instructions, but its left a disk icon on the desktop..  do I need it?  Can I delete it?  How?

Glad I could help.

The install disk on your desktop is like a shortcut to the mounted disk image. You can ctrl-click and "eject" it, and you should be able to delete the actual file that you've downloaded afterwards (which by default should be in your downloads folder, in the doc.

The actual file that you want to delete is probably a .dmg file or maybe .pkg file.

The delete key:  see that thing that plugs into the wall?  remove the battery first then pull that thing out of the wall.

Congrats, hope you like it. I once had a Big Mac... But I ate it. I am using my wife's ipad, I don't see a DEL key here either...
When you find it... Post it, now I'm interested too. Good to see you!

Edit: I see Rain posted the answer, thanks Rain.

 Hope you like it Karen.

Now you know what the next logical thing will probably be? Are you considering the "L" word?
