I hate my neighbor, and my walls are so thin, and I know she can hear these incredibly loud laundry machines, and I think its funny, because I never sleep, and she can go to heck for all I care.

You could try washing the communal CHB undershreddies, the shrieks and screams from Straummy* as you try to remove them would wake the whole neighbourhood.

Well the bad news is: Turned out to be only 3 loads.

The good news is:  These last two loads are track pants and soft shirts that need to be dried with low heat.  So obviously that takes, "4 and frikkin eva."  Not as loud as drying jeans and towels, but annoying nonetheless.

try a load or two of sneakers.  they make one heck of a racket in the dryer.  even one pair works fine and they are all nice and clean again. 

Then.... as an added bonus.... record the dryer with the sneakers and play it on a loop .....
