IK Obi
I use Sony MDR 7506's on my kit when I practice/record but I am not a loud drummer.
Those in my opinion Obi, are the best headphones for a drummer because they go so loud. Though I appreciate the effort in the OP's initial post, being a studio owner for a long time and having worked with musicians from all over the world, the question that gets asked the most by drummers is "are these cans loud enough?" not "are they good at cancelling noise?"
The 7506's are also good because they lack mids. So a drummer is going to hear his kick drum, his snare is going to pop/crack, he will hear his hats due to the extra sizzle you get from 7506's...and again, these babies are freakin' loud!
My second choice for drummers would be the Sennheiser HD 280 Pro's. The reason being, they squeeze your head like a vice, they are excellent closed backs to keep noise out, excel in low end (unless you have an older pair. The older ones lacked lows, the newer ones have a nice bump at like 50-60 Hz to my ears) and they too are excruciatingly loud. Both sets of cans are very affordable and in my opinion, the be all end all of drum headphones. There'd be no reason for a long drawn out blog about all the different sets available in my opinion. You can get exactly what you need for around $99. :)
