you do have taxes though....        as I bet they do a nice xmas price on their bundles.

Yeah..  We've got taxes in the USA, but they do not work like VAT.  There is no all around, "blanket tax."  You can find some states may charge a sales tax for certain items, but have no income tax..  Other states may have high income and property but no sales tax...  Other states have only property tax...   Even the Federal Tax code is beyond complicated..   But I am not a tax lawyer...   or an Accountant..   and the intricacies of the USA Tax Code are far beyond my understanding...

Anyways...   I like PSP...   I bought all my PSP plugins when the eurodollar was closer to 1.48/0.74...   There is no comparison with how the economy is acting now..   I don't recall paying a VAT when I bought my PSP bundles..

In closing..  "we are all better off, using synths other folk are not using or dislike."  Our music benefits by us having totally different favorites for synths, compressors, eqs, reverb, daws...

I was actually interested in this plugin at one point..  I might still demo it eventually, buy it eventually, and likely not...  who knows...

Cheers

well when I bought a mackie BK it was £150 ages ago.. then it went up to £253 in a few weeks!!! ... it currently is £216.. you might find you did pay tax on the PSP stuff, as the shop does add it.. only reason for mentioning them is because they are poland based also.

perhaps email them, they will tell you how it works out.. their stuff is very good though.. try the demos anyway.. you'll see

I had a look at their shop, and it's via digital river / share it , they might be based in germany coz of the GBH thing

the "sales tax" is 19%

.. and saw this >>

Adapting sales tax/VAT when country of delivery is changed
If the country of delivery is changed during the order process, the sales tax/VAT rate shown here may also change.
Note: We are required by law to display final prices (equal to the product price plus any applicable VAT) in the order process. Under certain circumstances, if, for instance, a VAT ID is entered during the order process for a transaction between two companies, the total amount displayed may be reduced by the exact VAT amount.

---

the total bundle is 449 euro.. BUT in USD = $549 (solely from their site)

*BUT* using XE.com .. the same as 449 euro TODAY = $582

so you are getting it cheaper than what it should be *IF* it's like for like. their price is derived from the Euro price probably. You could claim the VAT back I guess, not sure if / how others do that as I'm not in the US or have a company to claim it back via.

it's a pity roland themselves didn't do vst's of their own instruments

Interesting..  I'm checking out the demo, but I recently bought Oxium so their is slim chance I will grab, "two new synths," unless this Lush101 thing is so amazing, "specifically to me."  I realize that Lush101 might be amazing to others, and that I might be missing the point completely

tried the demo, just bought it.. got a bit off the price as I'm a previous customer.  it does the classic 101 sound , but a lot more..

there is a joke name for one of the patches "sylenth night" .. so if you like that synth by lennar, you'll like this one pretty much.

Awesome!!  Enjoy it..   I agree it does that classic sound and a lot more..   but I am passing because, "Rapture is my only synth that I want, "complexity from."  I've spent years learning it, and I am comfortable with it..   All the other synths I pass on, have complexity!  Synth squad, Reaktor, and a lot of other NI synths are very complex..   so I pass on them..   Synths that turn me on instantly now, are simple synths for stupid people..  lol..   ACE, Diva, Oxium, Retrologue..   Those are the demos that I have most enjoyed recently...

I think its awesome though, "we don't all need to have the same kit."   Enjoy the new synth though!   I bet you will make some amazing music with it...

well I used a friends sh-101 in old stuff back in the 90's.. but couldn't justify the money. also it does a good impression of the sid chip (c64) , so saves me buying re-fx's quadrasid .. perhaps they should drop the price of that now hehe.

I would'nt say diva is simple.. thats next on my shopping list, but I'm waiting till xmas probably for that when all the companies have sales on.
