Hello everyone.

 I am still having an issue with Plugin Manager (and in Global VSTs) and grayed out SCAN buttons.  This is a new 8-Producer install. I have download and installed all the patches, thinking this might correct the issue, though I have not gone to 8.5 yet.

 I can't for the life of me figure out why the Scan buttons are not available.
 
Any ideas, suggestions, solutions will be greatly appreciated.
