If more than two a month count as "often", ya.

I get three kinds of them.

Only one kind can the chiropractor help (about 90% of the time). The others I can medicate (with about 95% success).

Just read an article the other day that said some herb (can't recall the name right now) is fairly successful in warding them off. Gonna have to try that one.

I've suffered from migraines since I was ~13. I had one period in my life for about two years where I did not get any headaches at all.

Diet should have accounted for it. I was on a strict Atkins diet then. However, I stayed on that same strict diet for another 18 months but in that 18 months the headaches came back and within 3 months of that 18 month period the deep migraines returned. Go figure.

I have no blood pressure issues. All my blood tests are relatively normal, except blood sugar when I eat too many sweets. I'm a type II diabetic, which is diet controlled (no meds needed yet).

My entire family (mom, dad and three sisters all suffered from bad headaches). My 12 year old grandson is now suffering from severe headaches. He goes in for an MRI on Saturday. My son and daughter get severe headaches too.

Methinks it's in the genes.
