Are you sure SHIFT-V is bound to a function in X3? The keyboard shortcuts dialog in Preferences indicates SHIFT-V is not bound to a function. Is is possible with the introduction of Region FXs and the legacy status of V-Vocal the binding was dropped?
You are correct that it is not listed as bound to the tool... But in searching for shortcuts previously It is still listed as is shift-m to do the same with melodyne... I'm trying to locate the shortuct listing that displayed this but so far unable...

Lets not get too crazy about playing beta testers here... We all appreciate the help and place to voice our concerns, but it just isn't always necessary to be that formal...
I thought it pretty obvious that shift v not working to open V-vocal pretty explanatory by itself.... Obviously there needs to be a track with data on it etc.... but none of that matters as we all know that to be the case... you can't open V-Vocal without selecting a clip to open it on... Or is there?
Shift v has always opened it in previous versions of sonar and I did find it listed in X3 as well as melodyne.... Melodyne worked with the shortcut in X3c, but now it's not working in X3d...

BTW... I also looked and can't find a function to bind the commands to so I thought they were internally bound somehow...
