And for what it is worth all countries should have high speed broadband or risk being left behind. Spain for instance charges about $70 a month for a 3mb connection with usage limits. This is down to monopolies and this is wrong. Blame the ISPs and your govenments for greed and sitting on their arse for too long.Anger should be directed towards them not software companies.

I agree 32 and 64 bit should be split, when Cake supplies a download manager I'm sure you will be able to dowoad just what you need .

I'm enjoying X3e. They can take as long as is necessary.

Sad but true. Those who disagree are still plugged into the Matrix.

FWIW, I'm in no rush for X4 either.   X3e floats my boat for now.

@Willy. Where I am the only option for internet is 3g/4g. All the providers in the area will clip your speed to nothing as soon as you hit 1gig of download per day.

This becomes a problem when the file sizes are closer to 2 gig. S download manager of sorts that could be stopped and restarted the next day for as long as it takes to get the download would be very helpful.

Since the download links expire after a few hours the current download delivery method is difficult.

I have found a way to do it with firefox by renaming the .part file in the downloads directory before restarting the download. Then after the download starts again pause it and delete the new .part file and rename the old one back. Then un-pause the download and it will pick up where it left off.

It's convoluted but it does work. It would be so much nicer if there was a download manager.

Pretty Please!

which makes me think... whatever happened to "FOR the people, by the people"

Here in Australia, the gold companies, the coal companies, the diamond companies, and the iron ore companies, the four biggest earners in the country, pay next to no tax, not by utilizing loopholes in the tax system, but by official sanction of the Australian Government, and yet apparently there is no conspiracy... ha ha, yeah right! Freemason mongrels! Subverting the nations public purse so that their mates can rape the nation and walk away laughing! Why doesn't the Government just run an ad campaign to taunt the people and say "To all the cattle, kiss our butt!"

Whatever the release date, please just make it stable. Or make a Sonar X4 Amusement and Pro versions :O) Amusement version can have all the new features.. Pro the tested ones :O) Of course, if they can get Slate VCC to behave, I'd actually pay extra for that feature!

It IS "for the people" - just not ALL the people.
