perfect solution, thanks! for whatever reason my practice this far has been to use FX chains solely in the fx bin, not the PC. great example of sonars flexibility.

I have a bunch of effects chains that I use all the time, I should do something with them.

Pretty please with extra shine brass spheres.  There used to be/is a download area that has some pro channel pre-sets is there one for FX Chains? Perhaps in one of those imaginary idle moments you wish you had you could get them to set one up

PS Thanks for this one, Channel tools is my go to toy for sound staging.

$329 for the softtube mix bundle. A trifle expensive I would say.

What qualifies as a truffle expensive then?

Here's a page on Truffle Pricing. For that price, they won't be an ingredient in my trifle!

Unfortunately it's not quite that simple...unlike the Channel Control some of them are quite complex and while I can use them, I don't think they're ready for prime time. It's sort of like the difference between having a circuit on a breadboard and putting it in a case with knobs.

Also, several of them use Gibson and my own intellectual property based on design work that I've done for the company, so I couldn't just let those particular ones out into the world. For example I did three FX Chains for humbucker-to-single-coil timbre conversion (bridge, neck, and bridge+neck pickups). That way I didn't have to do any rewiring to a Les Paul Traditional   I also did a Les Paul neck pickup tone control emulation, but used the FX Chain to do "virtual tone control capacitor" changes. Different cap sounds with no soldering - I thought that was pretty cool.

If I could put in a month of concentrated effort I could probably whip them into shape and figure out how to deal with the IP, but it's hard to justify that from an economic standpoint. Still, I think Sonar users would find them very helpful...let me see what I can do.

Thanks indeed Craig.

I just wanted to clarify/highlight (it is stated above) that the Delay Mode button is not an on/off switch (as the Channel Tool has 3 modes).

Greyed = Pre Delay
Backlit = Post Delay
So obviously:
OFF = Delay knobs turned hard left

I see the that the Delay Mode (Type) button is set to:
Start = 50%
End = 100%
So obviously:
OFF = 0% - which is outside the range of this button.

I understand completely one has to ask  even if you then tease with your FX chains you have made

Thanks for channel control fxc, nice, I have made another version using the middle knobs, that were unused, to add control of mid gain and side gain.
