Once upon a time I was a programmer for a software company that created software for the real estate industry.
I remember speaking to a customer who raved how our software had made him thousands of dollars and then refused to pay $149 for a major upgrade.

He's theguy who's still on SONAR 8.5, right?

I bought the PDF, glad I did.

I'm glad you did too, thanks.

In case there are no more Craig's Tips, I compiled this batch into a Word file and uploaded them to Dropbox here.

Thanks! Now I don't have to do it :) BTW the last name is Anderton, not Anderson.

I should probably add a graphic to the most recent one just to make it look nice...

Apologies if this is a big no-no, but I wanted to share a song I just finished where I used the Multiband Compression Tip from week #164.  I used the "Tuned Thunder" settings on the bounced audio from a MIDI'd part using Dim Pro's "Dull Bass 1" preset.  It really gave me a full, warm part that sits well in the mix and doesn't stick out in an obtrusive way.  I say this based on listening to it with headphones, in the car, and with decent studio monitors.  Laptop/phone/iPad speakers - not so much!  Anyway, I'd really encourage people to give this tip a try.
