It used to be bad enough that early adopters had to beta test a new version every year and a half, now everyone has to beta test every month. If I were using Sonar in a professional setting, I'd be scared to death.
You can update whenever
you want - you don't have to update the day it's released - and roll back to a previous version if you have a problem until there's a fix.
If you use SONAR in a professional setting, the Dim Pro sounds do work, it's just that the SFZ files are placed inelegantly but that can be fixed and doesn't impact performance...and I don't see the Control Bar issue as so serious it can't be coped with for a while until a patch happens but if so, just hold off on the update. Given how much stuff
has worked properly in the two releases so far, I really don't think they qualify as "beta tests."
