Lance Riley [Cakewalk]
The Music Creator 7 (build 34) core installer update is now available to ensure compatibility with future versions of Cakewalk Command Center.
This update includes new installers for Music Creator 7, the Studio Instruments Suite, the Cakewalk Sound Center, the Additional Content and increases the build number of Music Creator 7 to build 34. Also, the Music Creator Help and Tutorials installer has been separated into Music Creator 7 Local Documentation and Music Creator 7 Tutorials. There are no content or feature changes in this update.
The new installers will be denoted by a yellow light inside Cakewalk Command Center. If the light is red, simply click the [Install] button to update to the latest version as per usual.
This update is recommended for all Music Creator 7 customers who install through the Cakewalk Command Center. It is not required for Steam customers.

Thanks Lance!
Can you tell me, if we have Sonar Platinum and Music Creator 7 both installed on the same machine, will the CC know if Studio Instruments and Sound Center really need updating in case we've already updated it with Sonar?

Hi Beagle,

Yes, Both Cakewalk Sound Center and Studio Instruments are essentially individual products bundled with both Music Creator and SONAR. For users who own both MC7 and SONAR updating these packages in one product will show that it is updated in the other product.

I have music creator 7 on one computer upstairs and Sonar producer x1 on the computer downstairs. Can I import tracks from music creator 7 into Sonar? How would I do it?

These ^ last 3 posts should have been posted in the forum below since they don't have anything to do with the announcement of a CCC compatibility update.
Start your own threads and you should get some help.
And welcome to the forum!

I need help
I bought Creator 7, downloaded it
Also downloaded Command Center (which will not open to let me enter}
I changed passwords twice, didn't help
I uninstalled Command Center twice and reinstalled, nothing helped.
I would like a way to by-pass that Command Center
I bought it on April 9  and haven't got it to work yet
I tried the Creator it it said Demo mode

Thank you for your answer, perhaps I'm not making myself clear
COMMAND CENTER is the problem, it refuses to accept my password
I tried a few minutes ago to register the program myself, it has to go thru Command Center
