Lovely slice of electro-pop Daryl. Very good chorus, I could imagine any number of popular artists getting a hold of that. Listening through ATH-300 headphones, bass is coming through really well, nice warm sounding mix. No crits. Top notch!

Daryl,

When the drum intro started I was expecting a Chic or Earth Wind and Fire bass line to come barreling in:)    Very nice 80's techno vibe to this song.   The mix sounds really good.  Like the percussion fills, are you using Battery by chance?

Regards

Hi. Great stuff. I like everything about it and the bass is just great too. Mix was good in my ears, although not sure if I should say anything about mixing because I have problems with it.

Thanks James. I've been listening to Foster the People and Passion Pit recently. Two contemporary bands who are heavily influenced by the eighties :)

That snare really pops. What did you use?
This tune works for sure. Might want to think about a slight HPF on your lead vocal. Just a bit too much body at times.

Hey Mark - maybe next time for the funk thing :)
Yes - Battery for the percussion and doubling up with EZ Drummer for the main drum part. There is also a tom loop thing in the chorus and the intro.
