Got $199 as well following the other guys link. Wonder what the timeline is that decides the pricing? Not complaining (unless Sonar goes out next year) but more curious since another guy I know said his was $99. :)

Wondering that, as well. Mine was $525.00 by following the link, which is quite a bit higher, obviously. I migrated to Platinum from X3 Producer and have already renewed Platinum once. Also own a number of other Cake products.

Not looking a gift horse in the mouth, but my offer is much less tempting than one at 199. :)

Excited to see the lifetime model, though.

It seems to all depend on your current Sonar version and if you paid for your most recent rolling update and may be a few other factors. (time as customer?) I have Platinum and it was 99.00 and I am good to go and very happy.

Yes, I've been on Platinum since it came out and I've been around a long time too.

Ahh, got my email! It came up at $99 for my link so I'm guessing it was the link itself that was a key for the price maybe. :)

If you haven't already, Make sure you are logged into your account. It will make a difference in your price.

Edit: Tera,  looks like I should have waited for my email.... :)

The lower part of the email explains the pricing:
"Pricing/Availability

The regular price of upgrading from SONAR Platinum to lifetime updates will be
$199. However, because you already purchased a renewal, we’re charging you only
the difference between the price you paid earlier this year and $199.

For example, if you renewed SONAR Platinum for $99 earlier this year, you pay
only $99 for lifetime updates. Pretty simple! We’ve already taken care of all
the details and adjusted your price so it will appear correctly in the store.

Limited-time Offer:
Lifetime Updates will be available only through August 31st, 2016. Act now to
secure your Lifetime Updates"

No email here either - the last one I got was from Cakewalk News on the 15th about the AAS synth flash sale.

hmmm. No e-mail here. I usually get them.

Same here. I got the flash sale email yesterday but nothing today.

Edit: 2 minutes after my post the email came in - too much of a coincidence so I'll say thanks Andrew!

I wonder if any consession will be made for those who renewed by choosing monthly payments and have basically paid for half the year, at this time.
