Rapture Pro has two methods: 1) mark it as a favorite from the browser 2) create a new "instrument type" and this will allow you to search on that basis. You don't need to use standard settings for this. Create a category that will help you find what you're looking for, e.g. FAV_Arps.
Sonar can do the same sort of thing if you are sorting plugins with the new browser features. You can categorize plugs into arbitrary categories, but I don't know about specific presets. Track templates?
