So using oddities of note..(can help also do some solving for X Y Z if noted).Internet may call on defaults of MS workings...when dialing up internet services, to send and or decode or encode intel.......and so on, and so forth..with the installed internet Browser...bing, msn, and others....would it be something tied to audio defaults or such?...And bad hickups...bad services, netframe interupts?...and or...external third party drivers interference of installs for other (not MS standard wanting or working if so put first other)...Installing while other things be going on....in background?...and how is all this called ..or put to service or to cpu and or system data install of drivers of third party..MS does not support as part of the exisiting first put devices...if all get tied and bound to the OS as first default...
 
Might be something of error in that...OS default issue.?
 
Just off the head thinking inside and outside the box..to look deeper into....for a pointment of , if so correction be necessary!

To explain my meaning further...Order....if you put motherboard drivers in first...they are claimed default...bound to OS as so...and bound to do...what MS os does....then you put another driver in...which one is default?...the first one put?...Ah..and MS keeps it...as so...for GM and GS and Input for audio tied to internet edge or internet protocol....
 
That said...it is odd audio is having issues eh?

see order must be first most important put...and if put first...ms binds it to its default....uses when you use...and that is where is  I see error being done for MS to DO.

Hi Les - I am continuing to work with Vlada on her issues - this thread is getting a bit cluttered up - perhaps you might consider opening a separate thread or two - so I can circle back and try to follow your listed issues there, rather than here - and I can try to assist you again to get some of your stuff working better?  (she is getting a bit confused going through her own thread)
 
Vlada's current situation is that a Sonar dump file has been created and some other system information gathered from her PC - and all have been attached to her open Case with Cakewalk technical support, where she is also going through things with them - in addition to whatever assistance I can provide her seperately from that.
 
Vlada's Presonus StudioLive FireWire audio interface is currently being 'seen' by Windows 10 Device Manager, however the device drivers for it - though installed - are NOT being detected by Windows, so the interface cannot be actually used by either Windows or any applications such as Sonar.
 
I have located some information that describes manually getting things adjusted within the Windows Registry to hopefully rectify the above condition, and I will coordinate that set of tasks with her tomorrow some time - perhaps in the afternoon.
 
She DID get Sonar to launch when she installed the drivers for an M-Audio Fast Track Ultra USB interface, so that's good - however the ultimate goal is to resolve the issues with the Presonus interface.
 
The Presonus interface drivers ARE officially supported by Presonus to work in Windows 10 x64, so if needed, I will contact them at the first opportunity during the week.  I have had great success working with them on a couple of my own issues - a couple of years back, with a Presonus AudioBox 1818VSL interface that I had.
 
OK - so that is the quick update to the situation, and I will post additional updates as they occur.

Well Bob I am waiting on Intel...break needs commercial content while waiting on you, or VLA...or CW to chime in to put up....As I have some Asus Parts here as VLA....And When I put up a posting....I know I can count on you and others of Good heart.....Thanks for that...But I elevated up the ladder now to the kicking of the horse!....And got nothing but crispy parts because they cannot solve either....For to solve my issues, they have to remove the spy gut ware, and turn all trace and track off.....And all is well...when done...Bob.
 
Now if I go back a while....I was told not to play with Black vipers Tweaks.....I see reason more so EX MS employees Saying how to do this now.
 
So...I was fearing , Perhaps Bob and Alex where saying ...That is the issues with My doings, and wipe out and reinstall...over and over and over...Without the tweaks put......was the long road..
 
Then Internet issues with nic and audio where told was part of the issue...As I said back then....and so, how to setup without internet ....Was difficult process, and audio was the last thing to do...with the desk I was using.
 
Now...as the long road progresses to Apple...The desks work in unison well enough to see into learning a DAW.

But On PC my choices to avoid clicks and pops and get firewire with more than 8 ports of ins and outs working...if so just 8...on was redundant works also...So Fire wire to Thunderbolt was a good step for a bit out of that loop of clicks and pops, lost Audio driver issue....No, CW was still loosing the Audio driver for what reason?...had to always open Preferences and Play with the Audio device choice, apply, and then reselect the ASIO...Then it worked.
 
So, a work around....Always one eh?....I wait to say thanks Bob...I know you are a Good fellow...and mean well...
 
So, as asked we needs input....Saying I am doing it on Private lesson...and sending it to CW...how does that help others find reason...and look out for the issue you see?..if so seeing into some intel I do not see.
