Not sure when this first happened as I just noticed it today.

When going through my available patches for Rapture, a number of 3rd party patches are not loading and returning messages regarding samples not found.

What might have caused this to arise? I have not changed things (Regarding Rapture) since first establishing these all worked.

Any thoughts would be appreciated...

On my system, these are the paths to the Rapture content (still working here, latest Platinum update):

Patches 'C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Rapture\Programs'

Samples 'C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Rapture\Multisamples'

Thanks.

I hadn't thought to look there as they have been working on this machine for years and i havent changed paths or re-installed anything that i know of other than monthly updates...

...but it won't hurt to look!

Program data is a hidden directory by default so you have to go to the folders option in control panel to turn it on.  I have experienced that with the Galbanium library from patch arena.  Some of the samples don't work still I think you have to press F5 to regenerate refresh the sounds.  I'll try to fix mine

I just discovered that I have a Rapture folder directory in Cakewalk itself outside of the vst folder that holds all the samples so you might check there

Thanks for the ideas. I'll poke around some more. What's confusing for me is that the names show up in my patches list within Rapture, but attempting to load them fails with samples not found...

They used to work. These are not new, but suddenly not working...?

Had this issue before and posted about it. However, I had access violation errors when it didn't find the samples. Turns out converting the sounds that it can't find to .wav files makes them work. Bit of a tedious process but, hopefully it can be fixed with a future update. Unsure why it does this as mine also sometimes finds the samples...then other times won't load them and say they are missing. But, converting the samples to .wav files makes them work all the time.

Hope this helps :)
