To say I'm devastated is an understatement. What happens now to our subscriptions ? How do we ensure that Sonar will keep running and remain licensed ? What about Rapture and others - will license codes still work in the future if we have to re-install ?

Read the last paragraph of Noel's post.  Everything works, just no more development on Sonar or any other product.

Thanks folks, sincerely we are as sad about this as you are. As mentioned in the announcement please rest assured that your software will continue to work and the servers are still active. This is very new so we'll publish a FAQ as we gather more information.

I guess as an absolute minimum that we should keep the last lot of installers in the CCC folder...

30 years.... too young to die
I wish CW employers all the best and to find good place for the next 30 years

For users... I wish a free from on-line authorization Sonar version (X3 like) can be released. CW was selling "Lifetime" license, and sorry to say, but most have understood is as a personal lifetime and not as CW lifetime (which happened to be rather short).

Useless... with current authorization schema.

What about this forum? Obviously, the Bakers forum makes no sense, but there's nothing like this community elsewhere in the Windows DAW world. As sad as this announcement makes me, I really hope there's life after death for this forum.

Now, what about Tascam? Will my US-16x08 become another doorstop like my PreSonus AudioBox 44VSL?

So does this an I will get a refund on the annual fee I just paid a couple weeks ago on their "sale" . They had to know then that this was coming.
