This is a class action lawsuit waiting to happen, I'm not going to worry about it today... Thanksgiving is tomorrow... but I'll be looking for a hungry attorney on Monday.

I literally just bought into Pro a few days before this announcement.  I want a refund.

The problem is its hosted on Cakewalk servers and when they go we lose all contacts. That's the end. This forum could be gone next week so what then?
 

There are SONAR users here that will set up a new home for the community quickly if Cakewalk servers go down. I'm not the only one who has planned to do that... If we lose this forum, you should find the new forum by Google search.
 

Provided of course that Gibson approve handing over the forum that is

I was made redundant 2 months ago after 10 years with the same company. It came out of the blue. I've enough money to take some time out and try and make a success of my small project studio. I have the lifetime subscription. I'm sitting tight for now and removing my Win 10 PC off the internet. Let's see what happens.

In retrospect, my first clue in the demise was the "lifetime updates", then Craig Anderton's recent "announcement"

Can you post a link to Craig's announcement? I tried a search here on his name and nothing came up. A Google search using the site: modifier turned up nothing on the forums that I could find other than his tips of the week were put into an ebook that is for sale.
