1709 also seems to be messing with my audio drivers. Each time I boot up now I have to disable/enable them and reboot to make them work.
I believe that drivers are going to become a bigger issue with the new rapid release model for Microsoft Windows.
Since drivers are usually only updated for supported hardware, you are out of luck if a Windows update changes something under the hood, if you are running older hardware.
Even if your hardware is fairly new, other than GPU drivers, updates are usually infrequent. At least with supported hardware you can hope the vendor will push out fixes to play catch up with Microsoft.
This is gonna become a huge game of whack-a-mole!
