I'm more impressed each month.
It really brings the time stretching and editing features on par with othe rmodern DAW's. But what is more important: it is really clear that the people behind this took a deep hard look ath what is going on under the hood and keep fixing and fixing.

What I would suggest you offer for download with Cakewalk at some point is an instructional Video series.

Better yet, host it on YouTube. TIme to show the world what this Baby can do!
Best DAW and for free!

Amazing.

I think it would be really nice if you added a "Check for Updates" link under the HELP tab of the program.

Thanks,
Bill

Can't believe I didn't know about this earlier, I had used Cakewalk since the Dos days, had sonar V2 then switch to Samplitude because of their upgrade prices. Then Gibson went under... was just looking at the new Samplitude pro V4 and thought lets do a search on Cakewalk to see if anything had happened as I people were saying someone should buy it and... WOW!
Just have to say Thanks you for this!

I predicted Cakewalk and Bandlab cloud data integration the day Bandlab took over Cakewalk, and now my prediction has come true. THANK YOU Bandlab.

I saw 1 old Sonar Plat user expressing reservations at migrating to BL, and he got wasted by some of the new BL users. I have some reservations myself because twice when I tried installing the NEW free version on top of my old working Plat ver. I got a Database Error everytime it would boot up. I tried every trick I could think of to get rid of it, but never could until I actually completely reformatted my SSD and did an old version of Platinum install. The other reason I'm apprehensive is I'm not at all into loops. Too much like rap, which when you compare it to Steely Dan, or some of the super groups of yesteryear, it's just repetitive noise, but that's another story for another forum another day. I DO have a question re: Old Plat about how my saves never save my changes for making my meters horiz instead of vert, and how the Navigation view always comes up. I don't know what to save in order for those features to be saved.

I'm going to uninstall old Plat, and reinstall the new and see what happens.

Sonar Platinum came with a whole mess of loop content.  In all these years only looked at it a couple of times mostly as a curiosuty of what they were offering.  While not normally my cup of tea, I'm also aware that even jazz musicians use (and mangle) pre-recorded loops these days.

Not sure why you would view Cakewalk by Bandlab as any different as it relates to loop content.
