Tried to sign in as directed and got a pop up saying that I wasn't permitted to set up an account.

Tried again and got a message that my account requires verification - email sent to my email address.

No email received.

Not a very good start :(

I just entered my email and password and it opened with my profile all filled in.
Because Band lab is free you can also try just opening a different account.
All you need is a different email.
I have it all set up like that on a laptop at work just so I can open it and mess around or answer forum questions.

IIRC way back when we were told that it was very important to use the same email address used here to set up a new account at bandlab which I did. This was to aid the migration of account info and keep product ownership history etc intact. I can sign into Bandlab assistant ok using that email/pw combination so it's there and working, but won't allow access to the forum.

Can't access the new forums either. Signed in to account and have access to it and all the BL stuff, just not the new forum. Clicking on Meng's link it hangs on the "Continue" screen.

Shouldn't there be a link to the forums from my main account page?

Problem seems to be with IE11. Chrome works.

Changed some settings in IE:
File > Tools > General > *check* Delete browsing history on exit
File > Tools > Content > *click* Clear SSL state
File > Tools > Advanced > *check* Security > Use SSL 3.0

Don't know which one actually fixed it but I can log on now.
