I see most of us are already fully entrenched in the nice new shiny forum. Not much point coming back here now. 
At first I thought the new forum would be so different and I would miss this one. No, it's sort of like they finally gave this one a long awaited update and facelift. 
Signing out, and deleting the shortcut.

Why don't you give it some time, Johnny?  They could make improvements as they go along.  Keep your eye on it anyway, buddy!

New forum does look good, I hope the new Songs forum will have the same camaraderie as the old, with plenty of collabs happening.

Actually Cactus was praising the new forum, wasn’t he?
ditto James, on the "songs", and we will all have to make an effort to see that the new forum is successful!

That's how I read it - out with the old in with the new...

I also think that new forum is usable right out of the box. Bandlab has big experience making web platforms.
 
The layout is more tablet then desktop oriented (the middle of wide screen is essentially empty), the text color for topics subject wake a bad feeling in me (I perceive colors not as majority of people) and some boards are not yet there. But that are small issues and they can be fixed in no time.

Last one over is a "out-of tune note"

Just took notice that there's a "notify" check.  Has anybody tried that yet?  I tried to edit a post to make it notify but it didn't seem to let me.

I just accidentally opened this forum. I guess I didn't lock the door :) 
I do like the new forum 100% so far. No point hanging around here far as I can tell. 
Looks like most of us are over there now which is all that really matters to me.
