Just wanted to give a shout out to these guys.  In addition to the forum at Cakewalk, which has been invaluable, I have found some great computer assistance and tutorials at "Windows 10 Forums".
https://www.tenforums.com/

The computer forum at Cakewalk has always been a great resource, especially as specifically related to DAW and audio PC usage.  But since I have not seen any movement yet towards adding a computer forum at the new Cakewalk forum site, I thought I should post this link here for future reference.

Yeah, Brink and his crew are really good at helping users.  He also has dedicated sites for Windows 7 and 8 (and probably Vista).  I have gleaned a lot of info from these guys.  Good stuff.

Kind regards,

Thanks.  Bookmarked and registered! Not that I am going to having any issues at all over the next 5 years.

You won't. I just 8 balled it and it said "bwbalint is good for the next five years computer wise" and I thought that was pretty specific.

If you have some pull "over there", maybe you could suggest a DAW or audio PC related sub-forum over there?

No pressure, just a suggestion ...

Best regards, and thanks for all of your helpful input around here!

Here is the response from the tenforums.com administrator.

"We only set a new section up when there is enough content being generated to keep it fresh (posts every few hours), unfortunately, a recording studio stuff section is too specialist for that to happen here, we not even managed a separate sound and audio section at Ten Forums as we have had at all the other sites.

Edit - after looking around there may be a case for the "Sound and Audio" section as at a quick look there are quite a few recent posts in other sections, I'll take a look on Monday"
