I had to connect to download and install Macrium on my pc and make an image. That gave Microsoft enough time to see I needed updates and issue warnings and now I have BSOD. All within three days. Only thing done was install macrium and disconnect.
 
I have my MRI in May and if it appears I have a little time to live, I may buy a pc for recording and if I do it will only be one from Jim. I am so tired of this worthless war with Microsoft. That is now 4 pcs in one year hosed by them.

I have had to reinstall Windows 7 twice after disconnecting an external hard drive, without doing it the safe way. Why this would brick windows is beyond my comprehension. but it's windows, not Linux. IOW, it's stupid.
