Anyone care to recommend a color theme to me? I skipped Sonar 6 (jumping from 5 to 7) so feel out of the loop in terms of which color themes are "hot", "must-have", "proven", etc.

I typically use 16 tracks of MIDI and occasionally a few tracks of audio. I have track view on one monitor and piano roll in the other (with controllers in the lower pane). I never use the console view. I use volume automation all the time and pan every once in a while. My monitors are both 19" CRTs. The room tends to be dark, and I'm the only one in here.

Given my setup and habits, what schemes would you recommend I try?

Is there a list somewhere of most popular (or most recommended) color schemes?

It just comes down to whatever one floats your boat. I tend to go for the darker ones, I find it easer on the eyes.
I like MQ's scheme, DomM's Dark Side, Saaricom's scheme, Keni's DSR Dark Console, Phazel's Nice Stock and Jeremys Shades of Gray.

Can someone tell me how to add these color schemes to my presets? I think we used to be able to do that in Sonar 6 by double clicking on a .reg version of the file, but now that they are .clr files, it seems you can load them and change your current colors but it remains under the name of the previous scheme.

I'm hoping I don't have to load and save each one...
