Does anyone have the colour scheme/settings to get my audio clips to look like pro tools audio clips? I love those slightly muted pastel color waveforms!

Wow... no offense, but I didn't know Pro Tools interface was so (sorry to say) boring looking. I have never seen it before.

Crash, thanks for posting those ... those are a great start! I definitely want to get a shot with 10 tracks of each kind so I can nail the color scheme of clips etc. Also, what versions of PT are those? One looks recent, but one looks super OS9 old school. A screenie of the full console view would be cool too ... even an open plugin or two. Thanks so far, I'll try to get started soon!

As for Logic 8, just post some screenies of the various screens like the piano roll, track view, etc.

BTW I am still on Sonar 6 ... will it be a problem to import color schemes from S6 for you folks on S7?

I don't think so, unless the file extension is different which (knowing Cakewalk's backward compatability record) I highly doubt.

Thanks so much for taking the time to do these LionSound.

Take care!

Pro Tools doesn't have the best looking GUI, but especially those pictures are way ugly because some of those are really old Pro Tools version shots.

thanks to Child for hosting... all hail Child!

here's a real colorful try- NO GRAY!- based on our favorite color hero Roy G. Biv

the screenshot doesn't really show well the delicate very bright track background rainbow... it was easier for me to get good colors in Sonar4 Producer but I did my best so far... please let me know if any of you like the idea of color instead of gray! You can tell your way around the tracks because they always follow the science of the spectrum...

hope it shows up here- it's a challenge to post images to this forum for me!

After using Soundscape and Vegas for quite a while we decided to change to Sonar, and with v6 it worked very well.
I like to have a gui that doesn't show too much all the time, but where it is easy to focus on the important stuff even with a fast look on the screen.
Hence this sleek grey layout and color scheme.
I find Sonar's original GUI to be quite cluttered, but the ability to setup your own working environment makes it very nice and flexible.
