The fader knobs and segmented meters have been customised by editing the TTSRes16.dll as per "alree'' example!
In the following download link the zip file contains the clr file ,the splash bitmap,and the TTSRes16.dll version 16.0.2.243 as found in Sonar 7!
Please back up your original splash bitmap file and TTSRes16.dll before replacing them with those provided in my zip file
Also in the same zip file there is a background image you can set as a background for Sonar to fit with the splash screen.Enjoy!

Question: I must admit the screen shots are beautiful it it possible to use this TTSRres16.DLL with Sonar 8? Its TTSRres16.DLL is a TTSRres17.DLL. I would think a new one is needed.

Have Cakewalk made any changes to Sonar 8's GUI? If not, then changing the name of the altered TTSRes16.dll to TTSRes17.dll will probably work.

There is a size difference. The 8 version is smaller then the 7 version.

They might well have done a bit of house keeping and got rid of all the bitmaps from older versions of Sonar etc. that were lurking in there. (several hundred in fact)

Well in 8 it screws up the transport. Not a problem though I was able to go back to the right file.

Its not a problem. I am happy with the basic way Sonar 8 looks with a few of my own color tweaks. But some of the really neat color schemes that people have done are very nice too.

If someone wants to make available to me a copy of the Sonar 8 TTSRes17.dll file I'll alter it and post it for Sonar 8 users.

I would if you will also brighten the play button on the transport when its in play. I can Email it to you if CW has no objections.
