Opinions: Which version of Sonar was the MOST CPU resource friendly?

Like the question says, which version was the least CPU resource hog. I have been a Sonar user since Sonar 3. The reason I ask, I am considering using Sonar in a Live setting. Arturia VST3 crash inside Sonar

I just picked up the Arturia V-Collection during their 15th anniversary sale. It installed with no problem, but the 3 VST3 synths (Analog Lab, Oberheim SEM, Wurlitzer) crash Sonar whenever I try to load them into Sonar. [Solved] installed via steam, now i dont know if 32 or 64 bits...

more MIDI latency problems

with my ASIO sound card set to the lowest latency of 64 samples, it says I should get under 10ms of delay under MIDI preferences on the ASIO window. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Sometimes when setting up, it's just fine and as soon as I go into record, I'm getting what feels to be about 20+ms ..

Finally upgrading to X3 - slowest download ever

Everytime I upgrade it takes forever to download. I'm on DSL cable internet is unreliable here so I'd rather have internet that works that's a little slower vs cable that's faster that hardly ever works. I wish I could still get physical discs. Not everyone has a super fast connectio..
