Brain freeze. TTS1 track plays drums ok but Piano roll view sounds like piano?

Is there a way to define a default setup for a plugin?

I would like to be able to setup my VU meters from Klanghelm to have certain default settings for the ballistics and color each time I add a new instance of them to Sonar. Update or Wait ?

Would you advise a prospective new Sonar user to update to the latest version or wait until they start encountering problems . I can see merit in both paths. Whilst on the subject of Upgrades do you always upgrade to the latest version or latest -1 bearing in mind some updates cause problems as well..
