16 bit to 24 bit

Hi I need to make a 48 kHz project 24 bit from 16 bit. I appreciate audio quality won't improve (it's going to be redone anyway) but softsynths will. I guess I will need to export and import into a new project. Wondering what is the best/quickest format to choose for this... Thanks!..

A Sample Rate Oddity...

Hello I'm observing some interesting behaviour. I have Focusrite Saffire Mix Control (the control panel for my audio interface) set at 48 kHz. If I open X3E (without opening a project) it changes Mix Control to 44.1 KHz and then immediately flips it back to 48khz - Which is where it should be..
