Recording issue, audio and midi

I'm probably doing something wrong but when I try to record more audio or midi on a track that has already got data in there is no playback even though the waveform/notes are visible. It only plays what I just recorded. Any ideas on what could be causing this?..

Pan function won't work

For some odd reason, my pan function doesn't work no matter what I do. It used to work - now it doesn't. I've tried bouncing to mono AND stereo tracks and neither works. Could it be my interface? I use an M-Audio ProFire 610. I'm not in offset mode - I checked this numerous times. Any ideas? Thanks ..

SONAR X3 Producer can't find my Roland XP-80

I just installed SONAR X3 Producer on a new computer. I had SONAR X1 Studio on my old computer, which died recently, and I don't remember how I did it but I had all 16 MIDI channels setup to recognize my XP-80, KORG Wavestation and Kurzweil 2500S. Remember the bug where the lowest note on the staff couldn't be edited?

The one where you can't right click the lowest note on any given track in staff view to get its Note Properties page, but they fixed it in X3e?
